Go to your guild hall. Have someone go to Ice Caves of Sorrow (or where ever you have on your map), THEN have them go to the guild hall. Now, both of you should be at the guild hall and have him add you to the party list. Have them go to their map and press "leave guild hall." It should take you to HIS last location outside of the guild hall if you have that place.

Oh noes...

I'd even sent a supersecret email and got a reply from the supersecret agent that I contacted at ANet and was told that this would be passed along to QA. (no, I'm not lying, hehe, it's totally topsecret mission impossible tom cruise hangin' from the ceiling type stuff).

And after I got my email replied to, and was happy that your problem was going to be forwarded onto QA... I come back here.... and tragedy had struck.

ANet would've probably 99.9% guarantee moved you back to were you should be or fixed it.

/bug hasn't been available since Prophecies beta.

as annoying as this bug is, its easy to fix:
Guildmate goes to ascalon city
Guildmate uses G and clicks Guild Hall
You go to your GH
Guildmate forms party with you (with him as leader)
Guildmate presses G again, and clicks "Leave Guild Hall"
Both of you end up in Ascalon City

It didn't occur to you that, perhaps, other people with Prophecies characters would have their mains over there--and would probably have them logged over there still -after- the event?

If you *HAD* left your character at GH, it would still be there after the weekend. Then, you could have zoned w/ some guildie.

Why couldn't you just have pressed G and clicked to zone to guild Hall r was that the part that was not working?

Jeez people calm down it was only a level 4. It wont take me long to get back 500k worth of stock. By the end of the week end I'd make that and have the character fully leveled.

How did you warp to an area you don't have? To my knowledge it kicks everyone out of the party if one person doesnt have the map. Your character was a prophecies pve character? How in the world did that happen @_@? And your character wont be deleted I'm sure. Maybe locked though till you get factions? But I doubt that as well because it was created in prophecies?
